�Desert wins the race of robot cars�
None of the thirteen automated robot vehicles that entered the DARPA sponsored desert race crossed the finish line. The race was sponsored by DARPA in the hopes of spurring the invention of robot vehicles that would �one day carry water, fuel and other supplies to the U.S. military during a conflict�.
On the bright side, there were no reports of injuries to any desert tortoises.
